AZUL is a nonprofit council that will meet to connect and develop Latinos in the Arizona nonprofit sector by offering educational and leadership development programs, services and activities. AZUL is open to any Latino that is currently working in the nonprofit sector and wishes to grow in their career. Membership in the Alliance is not a program requirement.

EDI work is a journey; there is no one right way or one right answer. In this session, we will dive into the methods and processes that worked for RBBB, and the mindset necessary to both start and succeed. CEO Sophie Allen-Etchart will share the tips, tasks, and changes that allowed the organization to embed EDI work and learning into RBBB’s everyday processes.
Website Accessibility is more important now than ever before. Since the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic, people everywhere have relied on websites, whether it be for entertainment purposes or life-saving tasks. This dependence on the web has illuminated the issue of website accessibility. Additionally, it is estimated that over a billion people live with a disability. In essence, making sure that your website is accessible is the right thing to do. This session will review the reasons why website accessibility is crucial. You will learn what to look for in determining if your site is accessible, and we will discuss non-technical methods you can use to improve your website’s accessibility.

All too often, organizations have feedback practices in place that don’t yield insights. Listen4Good, a national capacity building program, aims to change that. This session will explore the relationship between feedback, program improvement, and equity and inclusion, drawing on the experiences of organizations who have participated in Listen4Good.
